Sheyene Paid For Candy-

I had my niece Sheyene help me with this. She is a very strong girl . We had 6 youth saved this night.

I got the basket of candy and asked the 1st person "Would you like a piece of candy?" They said "Yes". I turned to Sheyene and asked her, "Would you do 2 push-ups so that he/she could have a piece of candy?" She jumped up and did 2 push-ups. I let them choose a piece of candy. I continued around the room. When someone said "No", I asked Sheyene, "Would you do 2 push-ups so that he/she can have a piece of candy they don't want?" she said yes and did the push-ups. I Layed a piece of candy in their lap.

Someone asked if she can help her or do the push-ups themselves. I Said "No, this is Sheyene's task she agreed to it knowing fully what was required of her. This is her task and she alone must complete it." Before we started we sent Casey outside. When we where almost done Casey came through the door. The Drama kids started and everyone joined in Saying "No Don't Come in. If You Come in You have to take a piece of Candy." sheyene looked up and said "No Let her Come." I said. "Are you sure? You know if Casey comes in she will have to have a piece of candy." Casey said "I want candy." Sheyene said "Let her have candy." And did her 2 push-ups.

(This was not planned but it just happened and it was cool) When Sheyene had done push ups for over 80 people and had about 5 or 10 people left. One of the guys bent down and asked her if she wanted water. she refused. The Youth and adults started cheering for her. She fell a couple of times and got right back up and finished her push-ups. She was turning red and her arms where shaking but she would not give up. She did 2 push-ups for everyone in the room with the expection of herself and me.

When I was finished I got a bottle of water and took it to her and said "Thank you My Good and Faithful servant." Then I said "A few weeks ago I went to Sheyene and asked her if she would do 2 push-ups so that everyone here could have candy. She excepted the task knowing full well what this task would require of her. A few thousand years ago god went to his only son Jesus Christ and asked him a similar question only the circumstances much more dire. He asked Jesus to come to earth, live as a human, be ridiculed, betrayed by his friends, beaten within an inch of his life, hung on the cross, and die for our sins, so we could have eternal life. Tonight sheyene paid the price so that you could have candy. Candy, that some of you don't even want. Some of you here have already opened and eaten your candy. Some of you will throw it in the trash on the way out the door. Some of you will put it down forget that it is there and never think of it again. These candies will never be eaten. Just Like Salvation. Some of you have already excepted Jesus Christ as your savior and are reaping the benefits, others of you will walk out the door say maybe later and never think of it again. Jesus has already paid for your salvation. It is laying in your lap all you have to do is Except it.
